social riding will be available after race. park included nsw best mtn x track, awsome little hucker trail big stunts for the freeriders, a foam pit and dh trails.. all welcome to come and enjoy ... also there is a pub only 100m down the road (insentive to come :P) for lunch or brverages... cheers folks. boof

Press Release: Home town advantage taken by mountain bikers
A hometown advantage could assist mountain cross riders current leaders, Leigh Darrell and Harriet Burbidge-Smith, to win the elite races in the fourth and final state round in Canberra this weekend. Over 200 riders are expected to converge on the Mt Stromlo track for their final chance to race on the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup course. The course was upgraded by Olympic track builder, Glen Jacobs and the next time riders get to race on it will be with the world’s best when racing gets underway at the end of this month.
